How to stop counting steps during a workout

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have the Versa 2 and use it to track my workouts. However, during hiit/aerobic workouts, the Fitbit continues counting steps. For example my last aerobic workout counted almost 4000 steps due to movement (jumping jacks, burpees, boxing moves, etc) but I don't want this to count as steps because now it looks like I took 4000 steps that didn't actually take.

Is there any way to pause or stop the Fitbit from counting steps while in a workout mode?

Welcome to the forums!

It will count steps with arm movements. There is no way around that.

Hope to see you around!
