My wife made the mistake of clicking ' yes update the watch ' .
Her watch loaded briefly then turned white permanently unusable.
Fitbit customer support says ' too bad ' that watch is past warranty here is a 25% off coupon.
Fitbit, your patch did not have a warning / disclaimer that says ' warning this patch may fry your watch use at your own peril '.
You should replace her watch.
You should put a warning / disclaimer on your patch.
You should make sure your tech patch software designers make patches that do not fry watches..
When I updated my Ionic luckily it worked but it took over an hour.
Please help her out ?

I feel your pain. I also hit the deadly update button and now my watch is dead. Went through multiple troubleshooting scenarios with Fitbit tech and even reset to factory ....nothing worked. My watch was working perfectly until I updated. I understand I am outside of my warranty but given the circumstances I would expect at least a 50% discount! DO NOT install the update because if it goes south and you're outside of the warranty period you'll be screwed.

Same here. My watch is fried after update the other night. Too bad because I really loved it.

Same for me .. my versa 2 is also not usable and after it stopps, i receive the versa2 that my mom had, who was a bit newer than mine, and same issue, can’t swipe, can’t use the touch screen and the versa2 doesn’t charge to 100%, she stopps at 69% the first time and 43% the second, so i wanted to turn it off and put it aside, but i can’t also not turn it off, because i can’t press on the screen …
Fitbit has no solution, i had contact with others fitbit versa2 users and it’s the same by all of them ..
