My left button isn’t working on my Versa. Managed to do a factory reset but now it is stuck on the “hold for shortcuts” start screen. I can’t clear this as my left button doesn’t work. Help ???
Moderator edit: Subject for clarity
Best AnswerI just fixed this 'left button not working' on my Versa by submerging the main body of the watch in a shallow glass of 99.9% isopropyl alcohol for about an hour. Then took it out and kept pressing the faulty button, a lot of times. Gradually the button started working again and now works perfectly. Assume the problem is dirt obstructing the button contact inside which is dissolved/dislodged by the alcohol.
☆Here is a solution that worked for me. Take the watch off your wrist and put a few drops of 70% isopropyl on the left button with the left edge of the watch face up so that it soaks in a little. Work the button by pressing on it until you can feel the detent again. Repeat until you can feel the detent. I had to do this a number of times. You may have to press all three buttons to reset the FitBit. It seems that dirt and crud makes this button stick. It is better than having to buy a new fitbit.
Best AnswerI have a similar issue.
The left button still clicks but there's no response.
Got told by support to restart the watch but wasn't able to hold down to restart due to the button not working. So, instead I shut down the watch from the app.
Now I can't turn the watch back on. Any suggestions or fixes?

Best AnswerI’m having the same issue. My Fitbit was stuck in the exercise auto turning in loop and support had me reset back to factory settings. Now the left button is not functioning at all
Best AnswerHello @RicardoFitbit, I saw that you helped some other people that had the same problem as me. My left button stopped working about a year ago, I assume from water damage, and I ended up just forgetting about it, but now I'm looking to use my Fitbit again. I'm not sure if it's possible to fix, but I thought I'd contact you anyway.
