I have a Versa 3 that has worked perfectly fine for the last 2.5 years.
I just returned from a run this evening and after syncing I went to check the stats only to find all of it missing and it just shows the exercise type & duration now.
I checked previous runs and all info was there up until about two weeks ago, after some messing around now even the previous ones have disappeared.
The data used to show a GPS tracked map, splits and times etc, now there's nothing.
I have tried stuff mentioned in previous threads like, rebooting phone, redownload app, turn off/on Bluetooth but to no avail.
There's also no dashboard available online to check anymore.
Can anyone advise?

Hi everyone. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I understand your concerns and how you must be feeling.
Please note that we were having issues with the workouts missing from the Fitbit app. However, I'd like to share with you that this issue has been fixed.
If you're still having issues, please try to force quit the app and turn your phone off and on again.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

I'm having the same issue. I hope someone can address this issue! This is unacceptable after 9 years of Fitbit use.

I don’t even have the exercise type or duration, it just shows zero exercise.
And it seems to have deleted all the previous data as well.
I note that the App was updated on Friday.

Having the same issue, hope it gets resolved as I’m considering switching brands after 8 years!

I’m have the same problem. It was happening quite a bit before the update and has now started to happen again. I’ve forced a restart, have uninstalled and reinstalled both my Versa and the app. Turned off and On the Bluetooth and it’s still not working. But the strange thing is that my exercise activity is shown on the Weight Watchers app and on the Versa itself.

Thank you. Let’s hope it is. I used to love Fitbit but since the takeover and concentrating on the Pixel watch there has been a lack of care to Fitbit users.

Is this on iPhone? I don't seem to be missing any workout data on my androids. And I usually track walk and bike daily. Weights every third day. All there that I can tell.

Hi Mark
Yes I have an iPhone 15 pro but my Versa 2 is a replacement but I’ve had nothing but problems with it. Have to reconnect to Bluetooth at least 4 times a day.

Also having this issue but with my Versa 2! Usually start logging my exercise via my watch, have done it this way for years. On the app I can see it’s counting my steps but not logging any actual activity. V annoying as im a newbie runner and have a race next week!

Hello @TonyF86 @Emmagriffo @DVWillisms71 @SunsetRunner
I believe there is currently a problem on the Fitbit side. There have multiple users reporting issues with seeing their exercise data in the Fitbit app. I have also experienced problems with my exercise data in the Fitbit app. My issue was fixed by the next day (Android user), but it seems like some iOS users are are still affected.
I happened to check the Fitbit Status Dashboard website and saw there's been a Web API service disruption that began around the beginning of September. Even though the service disruption information states data discrepancies or syncing issues between 3P apps and Fitbit, the timing of when the service disruption started is about the same time that many of us started seeing issues with our exercise data in the Fitbit app. The current status is still showing the Web API issue as of today, 09 Sep 2024.
Considering the issue has been on-going for about a week, the fix is likely not an easy one. Hopefully, it won't be too much longer before it's fixed and we see all our exercise data again. If the information that @SunsetRunner was given, it should be fixed in a few more days.
For now, I don't think there's any troubleshooting to do to fix the problem.

Anyone managed to start tracking again? Still not working for me 😞

Nope. No exercise data at all. All of it gone. What a shame for an exercise/fitness device. And more of a shame - no updates or assurances from Fitbit!

Same - absolutely no historic exercise visible on my app! V annoying, would love to know when this will be sorted 🙃

Still isn’t working for me. Auto recognised activity like walking is being logged but anything I select from the exercise section isn’t. But when I look at my step count that is including the missing activity. Thankfully the data is shown in my Weight Watchers app.
Fitbit should have the decency to keep updated!

Having an iPhone the pixel watch is not an option for me. So disappointed in Fitbit.

But a usable Fitbit should be. Google don’t seem to want that, though.
