I have a Versa 3 that has worked perfectly fine for the last 2.5 years.
I just returned from a run this evening and after syncing I went to check the stats only to find all of it missing and it just shows the exercise type & duration now.
I checked previous runs and all info was there up until about two weeks ago, after some messing around now even the previous ones have disappeared.
The data used to show a GPS tracked map, splits and times etc, now there's nothing.
I have tried stuff mentioned in previous threads like, rebooting phone, redownload app, turn off/on Bluetooth but to no avail.
There's also no dashboard available online to check anymore.
Can anyone advise?

Google is apparently aware and the 4.27 update was supposed to fix this issue, along with the step sync issue, but that doesn't appear to be the case. I think we have a better chance of Fitbit breaking back off from Google and being their own company again before Google fixes these bugs.

What do you use now if I may ask?

I too have a new Inspire 3 and after being a Fitbit wearer for many years I’m greatly disappointed with the data quality. I walk 2.5 miles in the morning. When I end exercise through the app, I love the map and all the data given. However, once I close that window and I look at my stats for that walk, the map is gone, the distance is reported at 2.1. This is not what I signed up for when I purchased it, I expected the more consistent data of my charge 2!! Seriously considering another device to replace this one unless this can be corrected soon!

Tried support again. This "Mary" support person followed up in email that they don't have an issue on their end and try force stop/reinstall the app. I have the exact same missing Data on 5 phones. It's not my app.

It has not been fixed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, updated, force quit, logged out, restarted my phone, and my data is still missing.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be that wide spread and I don't think they're too concerned about it. I feel like if I didn't have 3 watches still working, I'd be trying another brand by now. What's the point and motivation in tracking activity if it's just going to vanish in a week?

This isn't fixed yet - definitely still happening and I've lost nearly all my historic exercise data. The syncing is rubbish recently too - I have to restart my phone nearly every day just to get it to sync total steps, but exercise is almost never recognised. Really disappointing - makes necessary I hadn't bothered to replace my old Versa.

I have tried that numerous times in the past 2 months that I have been having this issue and it still does not work. The issue has not been fixed! Take a look at the most recent posts in this thread. I am not alone.

@C4trees Hi. You're not alone but for millions of users, there's really not that many complaints. IDK if people just haven't noticed, or it isn't affecting anyone. A community council member verified their entire history is still there on IOS. Don't know if it only affects Android or there are other common denominators.

I noticed my historical exercise records have also dissappeared. I too only use Fitbit to record this info. I have found the same turning on and off showing Health Connect data
Without health connect data shows 15 exercise days this month, with health connect data (that comes from fitbit) shows 22
actually getting really annoyed with data inaccuracy and app bugs and only been using it for 2 months!
Sort it out Google / fitbit

So I got a follow up email from my elevated case today. They are claiming there will be a fix by November 7th.

I have this issue also, did a 30min walk yesterday (01 Nov) between 5-6pm and checked my watch (Versa 2) was over 6k steps done at that time, then I tried to sync last night but the app just wouldn’t connect or load so I left it til today. Now it say I only did 6km steps yesterday and 750steps between 5-6pm, impossible when I did a 30min walk in that timeline, how can it be fixed?

I did try the 'force stop' and restart phone that the Fitbit person suggested - and it has worked OK (ie recorded exercise properly) for several days in a row now 🤞

Mine has recorded Ok all along. It's just that mostly everything over a week old vanishes from exercise history.
