I see many people are having the same issue I am having since the last time you sent out an update. My Versa won't sync, hasn't tracked sleep in weeks, this past week it stopped being recognized by my phone. Yesterday it stopped keeping correct time. I haven't had this a year yet! This isn't my first Fitbit, my last one I had for several years before upgrading. What are you doing to fix this problem?

Yep, that's exactly what they are going to do. Here's how I know this. If they planned to fix it or wanted to know what the issue is, they would have asked me to return the defective watch. But they didn't they just shipped out the replacement of the same defective product. As nuts as that sounds that is exactly what happened.

Well they haven't updated the versa OS in a little while but they did update the app recently, so it's more likely that the app is the issue here. I tried pairing my versa after resetting but before deleting the app and it wouldn't pair. I had the same issue irritated99 had where it would just spin and tell me it's having issues. You have to nuke the whole thing. Delete the app and all its data, restart the phone, reinstall the app, then try to set up the versa. If it still doesn't work then I'd say it's the device.
While my experience with the charge 3 was terrible, the 4th one I gave to my mom has been working for almost a year. My charge 2 was never problematic. So far my Vera 2 is fine. If the failure rate of fitbit's products was abnormally high, you'd better believe some millennial freelancing for techradar would have typed a manifesto about it. It'd be mentioned in review articles and they'd be warning people. I don't think Fitbit is any worse than other wearable companies in that regard.
