Not receiving Facebook Messenger notifications

Hi, I am receiving text message notifications just fine.  However, I am not receiving notifications for Facebook Messenger.  I have it selected under App Notifications in the Fitbit app, and I do receive notifications to my phone from FB Messenger.  They just aren't coming through to my watch.  Help!
