Not recieving Whatsapp notifications after update

I read the forums. Tried everything: resetting my Versa, removing and reinstalling both apps, cleared cache. New bluetooth connection. Even tried with another phone and it is still not working.

Are you even testing updates before you push them?

 

Got a OnePlus 5 and a Versa

@Sarah_Ronge so you have whatsapp set up as a default text messaging up? try enabling it under App Notifications in the Fitbit mobile app. That's how I have it and I can confirm it does work.

@Sarah_Ronge is it only whatsapp notifications or others as well? When was your last sync (open fitbit app, tap on Versa, scroll down to sync section)? thx

Hi,

 

Everything except whatsapp notifications works. I changed the default to the messaging app, facebook messenger and they work. Switch back to whatsapp, and doesn't work. Last sync was 1 minute ago.

Firmware: 32.33.1.30

Yes, it was set to default. I don't know what happened, but when I tried your solution and went into the notification settings, I instantly got an android message to give permissions to everything. And now it works. Dont know why, because it already had permissiobs granted. But, nevertheless it works.
