I just changed to the Versa 2. It's set up for calls and notifications but does neither even after all the tricks to get it to work. After seeing all the issues with the Versa 2, I'm starting to regret buying it.

Hi there, @R.Landress. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling.
Are you getting any error message in the Fitbit app? If you're getting this error message “Notification service is not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker”, please note that we’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.
However, if you have a Huawei phone you can try the following steps:
Note that you may see a message on your phone related to power consumption and apps scanning in the background. If you follow the steps in this message, the Fitbit app can’t run in the background and certain features may not work properly. Repeat the steps above to enable the Fitbit app to run in the background.
Hope this helps.

HI @R.Landress - - it may accidentally have got in Sleep or Do not disturb mode, to check go to Quick Settings and disable those icons. Pull down from the top of the watch, pull down again and click on the 2 white bars.

Thank you, but I've already tried that and all other steps. I'm not new to Fitbit, I've had one for years, several kind as a matter of fact. I know all the tricks and troubleshooting tips. It just won't work.

@R.Landress - this problem occurs quite often when people change watch or phone.
Make sure the Bluetooth entries for the old & new watch are removed, logout of the Fitbit App (clear cache and force stop it) turn off Bluetooth and any other Bluetooth devices, yours or others. Restart both watch and phone.
Turn on Bluetooth, login to the Fitbit App, then go to the home screen without closing the App.
A popup should appear, click on it & wait for it to pair and link the watch. Ensure all the Notifications are setup correctly.
Let us know if this helps.
