Have actually just been going through some posts on Fitbit community and stumbled across this one (https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Versa-Versa-Lite/Unable-to-get-Notifications-from-OnePlus-6t/td-p/32...). Wasn't sure if I had tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app so just did that and it seems to all be working for me now - hopefully you might also have the same luck...

3wing93 thank you !!! That some how solved the problem!!! Thanks again!
Best AnswerYay!!! It seems we're all working now!!!
Best AnswerSo everything is working for you? Its working on my OnePlus 7 Pro but only few minutes and after some time notifications stopped working and in notification section, on the top of the screenit shows "Notification service not working. Restart is require to re enable the notification on your tracker. " in a red box. I tried rebooting my phone several time but i didn't work for me. Only reinstalling Fitbit app can fix this problem, but its only temporary solution for a next few minutes. I am on OxygenOS 9.5.9.
Any advice or tip will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Edit: It seems disabling battery optimization for Fitbit app fixed this issue.

Got this gem from Fitbit Support:
Hi. Thanks for providing us with additional details regarding your Versa's syncing issue. Please note that the OnePlus 7 Pro is not yet included in our roster of supported devices: https://t.co/D0lClK58Tl. Although you may be able to install and use the Fitbit app, consistent and full functionality isn't guaranteed since it isn't certified by our engineers to fully work with the Fitbit app (which may cause it to encounter issues with the app). We recommend using either a compatible device listed on the link we provided earlier to manage and sync your tracker. Regarding the other issue that you mentioned with regards to the messages on your watch, can you please elaborate on this further? We hope to hear from you soon.
Best AnswerSame issue with OnePlus 7, needs restart to start notification but my ionic does not work
Best AnswerCheck Battery Optimisation settings. This needs to be turned off for Fitbit.
After doing this I am receiving notifications again.
Best AnswerYep, annoying. Have you submitted a feature request to add support for OnePlus phones, specifically the 7Pro? Please lmk when you do, & I will 1)add my vote & comments plus 2) get on the OnePlus boards & see if anyone can help here.
So frustrating Fitbit is behind on support of newer technology. They'll likely say no, but a starting point is always needed.
Thx
Best AnswerHello,
Looks like we have a shared interest! As an FYI below is a feature suggestion I’ve created, hopefully you guys would agree on it and support to get mods attention for adding one plus devices to their list of supported devices.

lmk your thoughts on it!
Cheers!!
I have Fitbit Versa & One Plus 7T.It gives error as notification services not running but still call notification is working sometimes but no other notification works.Tried restart of phone & versa multiple times
Best AnswerI have OnePlus 7, I uninstall and Install fir-bit app, notification started working but after few hours it again get stopped !!!
Do we have any consistent resolution for notifications issue ?
1) Disable the battery optimization for the Fitbit app
2) Lock Fitbit app in multitasking switcher
3) Restart your OnePlus device
Notifications are working flawlessly on my OnePlus 7 Pro for months (on Android 9 and currently on Android 10).
So I have owned a Fitbit Charge 3 since May. For the last 2 weeks I have had to uninstall and reinstall the APP from the Google play store. It will not find my watch. I just called Fitbit and the lady told me that my brand new OnePlus 7pro isn't compatible with the Application. She then told me to buy another phone if I want to continue using my Fitbit along with the APP.
