Receiving app notifications but not texts

Since updating my phone, my Versa will receive app notifications (ie ESPN) but will not receive text messages. Is there a setting I have to change?

Is your phone now running iOS 13? If so, there's a bug with notifications that fitbit are investigating. Keep an eye on the following thread where they are posting updates and recommendations:

I have the same issue but im on android. Have tried every advise on fitbit site but not working. Please advise.

Nic8608 Have you been able to find a work around?  Mine is doing the same thing.  I have a Note10 and my notifications stopped about a week ago maybe.

Same here.  Since the update I can receive all messaging except texts.  I am on iOS 13.0 also

In settings, messages I changed show previews to 'when unlocked' and it seems to have fixed it

I think mine is already like that on my phone are do you mean on the watch.

I was informed by a not so helpful fitbit employee yesterday that my issue may be because I recently upgraded to the Note10 and as of right this moment it is not a compatible phone with the versa.  Even though it had been working perfectly for about 3 weeks.
