Purchased a versa lite for my daughter and the screen won’t clear or sync. Has a red x on the screen. Restarted and it’s still there.

Try this:

Went on chat, this is what I was told to do & it worked:
1: Phone turn off Bluetooth, then back on
2: Phone Bluetooth forget divine
3: Put watch in charging cradle, in Fitbit app set up new device. Follow instructions
Worked great. Hope this works for the rest of you

Same exact issue. I can not get past the red x and message to save my soul! I am beyond frustrated with this dang thing. I’ve worked on it for several days retrying everything, wasting sooooo much time! Someone please help me figure this thing out!

This did not work for me. It has been a year since I bought it. Wanted to buy a second one for my spouse but I'm afraid I can't invest in something that won't work.

Hello..I have the same issue and have taken the steps outlined. The update keeps repeating step 2. I have been at this since 3:00pm today. On the off chance the update has worked. I pressed the off button but it gave me the same message.

That is exactly what mines doing it’s not taking a charge it won’t re-set or nothing I just get a big red X there has to be a way to fix this.

I did not find the chat line very helpful because all they told me to do is the same stuff that I was doing and it did nothing and they had no solutions they said it’s a software issue

Hello, I did the chatroom, as well as, fitbit support.
In the end fitbit support, offered me a replacement or 50% off another
fitbit. I should get my replacement next week.
