Purchased a versa lite for my daughter and the screen won’t clear or sync. Has a red x on the screen. Restarted and it’s still there.

Sorry to hear about that..I suggest to contact fitbit ssupport....4 months
old...still under warranty. I as am getting a replacement.

I don't have an email address...but on google, search fitbit support. You
will be able to send them the issues you are having with the device.

I also have this problem. Tried this method but no luck. Can't sync so won't clear. Any other suggestions

Hi I would suggest contacting fit bit support. They will tell you to try
all steps already suggested. If still not working, if it is under warranty,
they may or should offer a replacement. I bought mine in December of 2019,
and it was still under warranty, so they offered a replacement.

I have tried the step given to hold the button 8 seconds and then release and hold again.  I still get the RED X on my screen and won't go away.  I'm frustrated as it keeps resetting out of no where all day/night and even in the middle of my workout.  PLUS the touch screen stops working.  I haven't even had this a year and I'm about ready to get an IWatch!!!!!
