Run Cadence

I’m a runner. I was certain I was doing to give up my Garmin Forerunner for the beautiful new Versa 2 until I realized it doesn’t calculate run cadence. Is this being considered for future models? Do any of the Fitbit watches calculate real time cadence? Please help!

Cadence is something that has been requested years ago and isn't planned to be implemented. Fitbit devices are not runner's watches. If you're runner stick with the dedicated device. There are already feature suggestion threads which don't look promising:

No Fitbit device supports cadence and probably won't anytime soon.

Hello @Atrader123 and a warm welcome.  There is no current feature in the Exercise App that alerts you to your cadence or gives you feedback to run at a certain pace.  The Versa 2 has a Cadence app available.  I am not sure how well it works.  Sometimes an app needs to run in the foreground and some apps will say this in their description.  Cadence doesn't say anything about this requirement.  The Exercise app MUST run in the foreground.  If Cadence must run in the foreground, then you can't use both apps at the same time.

Maybe a user who has experience with the Cadence app will chime in.
