I don't have the Versa but I think the Ionic is the same in this respect. Swipe left to get to Settings > Brightness with options Auto, Dim, Normal, Max.
I have my brightness set to Auto and can see it in daylight and at night. It works very well.
Best AnswerI believe the original poster could not.
Dim is brighter than auto strangely enough. I do agree it's hard to see in some settings.
I just purchased the Versa yesterday after 2 years with the Charge 2. I love it so far but the screen could be brighter for my older eyes. I have read the replies but on my Versa I only have 2 options. Auto or Manual. There is no Dim option. Can anyone shed light on this..no pun intended. Lol
Best AnswerYes there is a way to adjust the brightness! To adjust it go to settings on the watch, then you should see a small rectangle and in the top left corner it should say brightness. Tap on the rectangle until it says the settings you want, it should tell you what it's set on in the bottom right corner.
Best AnswerThere are four options to set the screen to, Dim, Normal, Max, and Auto.
Best AnswerI wish there was a way to adjust the auto brightness.. or maybe they'll fix it with a patch. In dimly lit rooms IIcan watch mine flicker between 2 brightness settings.
Best AnswerTry the Dim setting, it is not that bright, and it does not drain your battery as much as the other settings.

Best AnswerOk, my brightness option is on the top, keep scrolling through all the settings until you see brightness. Once you see brightness there should be four options.
Best AnswerI only have auto or manual. I have tried all I can. Very frustrating. Thanks for your help.
Best AnswerYour Welcome, sorry it didn't work. My options are, Dim, Auto, Normal, and Max.

Did you update your device when you first started using it? I seem to recall there being an update that I was prompted to do when I first got mine a couple of months back. The settings on my Versa allow for Auto, Dim, Normal, and Max.

Best AnswerYou're looking at the wrong settings. That's for Screen wake, when you move your wrist, yes Auto or Manual only there. You want Screen Brightness, which is in a different place swipe the screen from right to left and keep swiping. After a few screens you'll see a Settings cog icon. Screen brightness is there, and you'll see the 4 options as the poster above mentioned.
Hope that helps, I found it way to dim on Auto too!
Until you leave max brightness on and go blind at night. They need to make auto adjustable in the future, manually adjusting multiple times per day is really bad.
Best AnswerI identify with the OP since my eyes are old as well. I found the Auto/Manual switch but that is not where you want to go to change brightness. Start in the icon for "settings" (on the watch) and work from there. The screen setting will expand to include dim/normal/bright. Bright is actually too much for me, at least in a darker room but normal seems to be bright enough.
