Hi all, I read a lot of topics about randomly syncing problems and how they are tried to being solved, including unpairing, FR, etc. Before going to these rather drastic solutions, most of these syncing problems can be solved (in my case in 100%, yes really) with this simple method:
1. Close the Fitbit app on your phone/tablet.
2. Restart your phone/tablet without enabling BT, or when it's starts automatically, disable it.
3. Start your Fitbit app and manually start syncing.
4. You'll get the message that BT is disabled and if Fitbit should enable it.
5. Press yes and it goes searching for BT enabled devices.
6. You will see the list of all BT devices detected and the Versa (2) should be in the list.
7. Press ready on the bottom of that list.
8. Start syncing manually and Fitbit starts syncing.
Problem solved in an easy way. Hope this will work for you all too.
BTW 1: On some Android Phones, you will only see the message: "BT not enabled" on top of the screen, press that and it asks to enable BT without showing you a list of BT devices, but nevertheless, it works. Tried that on a few friends android phones of different brands. Credits for this go to @Odyssey13
BTW 2: The proof of the pudding, is in the eating: see this about the above mentioned.

@SunsetRunner this isn't what I see on my Android phone. What phone are you using? Might make a difference to those trying to follow your steps.

Hi @Odyssey13 , I also use an Android phone and Android Tablet. Also see in my updated post the "BTW 1" paragraph (in which I gave you the credits for this), which I added after your post and testing it on other Android phones. Many thanks for pointing me at this problem, my phone does give the message though. Seems there is indeed a difference between brands. Regards kuzibri

Samsung Galaxy 8, Android 9, app version 3.7
There are about 24 iOS devices and with Android, with all the various phone companies having their over version, there are probably over a thousand. I did find an article that in 2015, there were over 600 new styles of phones and tablets produced that ran Android system.

Tested my solution on 10 different brands of Android and only one, my Sony Xperia XZ premium after the restart, gave the list. The rest only showed on top of their screen BT is not enabled. But by pressing it, it asked to enable it and when pressed yes, it connected without showing the BT enabled list, but synced perfectly, and that's what this is all about. This is what I also extensively mentioned in my BTW 1 message in my original post. Regards kuzibri

Hi all, this simple solution already helped three users with serious syncing problems to get their phone and Versa syncing up and running again, so it seems to work as it does in my case in 100 % of the times. Regards kuzibri
