When going running or biking it takes up to 2-4minutes to get connected to the phones GPS, this is quite slow. How long does your Versa take to connect to the phones gps?

@lastkajen Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Usually this delay is for the time it spends getting the signal from the GPS satellites. This happens with most apps as I have experienced a delay when using Waze or Google Maps (its never instantaneous at least for me). Still if you wish you can refresh the link between your phone and your Versa by going to the bluetooth settings on your phone and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your Versa by doing the following:
1.- Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
2.- Let go of the buttons.
3.- If your Fitbit watch doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.
Open the Fitbit app to start a sync.
Let me know how it goes!

Okej, with my Fitbit Surge it was way faster tho on the other hand it didnt have to go via any phone to connect to the satellites.
I guess I have to live with it being slow.
Thanks

@lastkajen sorry for the delay in my response. As you mentioned this was faster on the Surge because it has its own GPS chip unlike the Charge 2. Still I appreciate your understanding in this matter. Hope you keep on reaching your fitness goals.
I'll be around!

No worries. My biggest issue is that my Galaxy S7 phone does not recognize Versa. It's very sporadic and most of the time the fitbit app is telling me that it can't find it. On my iPhone on the other hand it's more stability in the connection and syncing.. Did not have the same issues on the Surge.
PS. I've tried to remove and ad the device several times but with the same issue reoccurring. Lost many km of biking through Europe simply because of the connection did not happen. Guess I'll have to use google maps to look up my routes etc..

Bluetooth fitbit connection is bad. I think it had been updated but the older version is better then the new one !
the old one for the update only toke you less then 1min, the new one take a long long time , most of the time do not work !
