Steps decrease on friends leader board on Fitbit app

I am using a versa 2. The total cumalative weekly step count for a week suddenly reduces in the fit bit app under community friends . Plz help with this. I have restarted the versa 2 , my mobile even removed the auto for stride length and placed my stride length. I am terribly dissatisfied with the versa 2 which I bought a few months ago.

@Ravikumaratmaku It's great to see you in the Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your step count decreasing on the friends area. This is the weekly leader board and it uses the information of the last 7 days so everyday it gets updated. This is why you see a decrease. This is to encourage a constant friendly competition among friends and it is how it is supposed to work.

About this: "my mobile even removed the auto for stride length and placed my stride length" I don't quite get what you are trying to say here. If you could add more details and share a screenshot of what you are seeing on the account then I will be able to better assist you.
