Text Notifications Without Displaying Entire Text Message

Hi community! I'm new to owning a Versa 2. Is there a way to have your Versa 2 display a text notification without having your text displayed on both your phone and your watch? Typically I just have my phone set to show who the text is from but not the entire text message. I noticed when I don't have display "always on" however it does not notify me on my watch. Appreciate any and all help

@mckayd Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

 

Let me help you with your text notifications. The watch uses the settings on your phone so it you don't show the text on your phone you won't get them on the watch. Still you can share your idea in our Feature Suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exist so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.

Hi @AlvaroFitbit - correct I understand that. But I guess my question is - I can have my phone read "Text From AlvaroFitbit" without showing a preview of the message. However, if I have this setting on it does not show up on my fitbit. Seems like I have to have the preview option on also? Do you believe that to be true?
