Day one with the Versa. Love the design and functionality. Everything seems to be working fine, except text notifications from my iPhone X. The Versa receives other notifications such as calls, and from Apps such as Sky News so the Versa can obviously ‘see’ the Versa and notifications must be switched on (text notifications are definitely switched on), but text messages aren’t coming through. Anyone else experience this and have any thoughts on a solution?

This is perfect. I was getting all notifications bar email and I used this help me work out why thank you I love that I can turn it on for a specific email too so I don’t get all the junk from my other email account #winning

i also have a Samsung galaxy s6 and have not yet been able to receive any text messages or any other notifications on my versa that I got yesterday. I am very disappointed and have attempted to resolve it based on online suggestions and still nothing.

hi Rosetta, i haven't tried this yet...worried that it will wipe out all the data? did you lose all yours?

@Kat-Brisbane If you sync your watch to your phone the exercise logs/ steps/ sleeps all that data that you’ve input usually stays on your Fitbit account. You should be able to restore your watch to factory settings, and re set it up and all your past data should be on your account still.
Maybe @NellyG can confirm this for you though

ALL, I FINALLY got mine to work after two days and doing a factory reset on the watch, calling Fitbit twice, turning on and off notification settings about 6 times. It’s working. Can’t really say what the fix was because I tried everything numerous times, maybe it was the factory reset or the unpairing of the watch and repairing multiple times. Good luck!

If you hold down the power button on the actual Versa a thing will pop up, make sure the notifications are on there.

Hi - I got my Versa today and have been playing around with it this afternoon and had the same notification problem. Mine was a quick fix - I went to my fitbit app, went to the Fitbit Versa -> Notifications -> turned off the calls, text messages, calendar events for 10 seconds -> turned them back on.. and all seems to work now. Hope this might help someone!

I'm still having the same problem, but I bypassed it through Facebook messenger by using it to send and receive text messages

Please help me, I have had my Versa for a month, at one point I was receiving all notifications, now it vibrates when I have a call, but I don't get a text message notification. This was one of the main reasons that I got the Versa and now I'm frustrated. Not sure what to do!

I also do not get text message notifications but I had seen previously it was due to a bug in the newest update.
I am hoping they fix it and roll out a new update soon so we can get our notifications back.

I am sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing with your text notifications and thanks for troubleshoot this by yourselves, all this information is appreciated.
If you keep experiencing this, I recommend following the instructions provided in the help article My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone. Also, make sure that this feature is on by checking your Fitbit app.

I just got my versa two days ago. I set it up last night and wore it for the first time today. I receive phone calls, but not text messages or calendar notifications. I’ve gone through every instruction on notifications, settings, etc and it still doesn’t work. I have an iPhone 7. Help!

I don't know if you can do it on the I phone but try using messenger to send and receive texts, it worked on my Android

Per my conversation with a customer support person on Monday, this is a known issue and "they are working on a fix".

I spent 2.5 days just to get the upgrade so that I could use the watch. I spent another 2 days trying to get notifications on it, to no avail. It's going back to Amazon today.
