Hello Guys!
I need help. I recenlty bought my Fitbit Versa last week and in the time when I added a screen protector and protective case, I didn't realize that you should turn it off since it only has a max of 10 times of entering the wrong password. Just ignored the prompts as I didn't realize it was necessary.
Now, I can't unblock my versa as it says "unblock through the phone" and change the pin multiple times and it doesn't allow the pin change. I tried calling helpline and it's taking too long.
Any advices to this? It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, after following all these suggestions with no luck, i have had success by deleting the Fitbit app off my Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus phone and reinstalling. When I went to disable the wallet he it told me I'd been permanently locked out because of using the pin too many times but it also gave me the option to wipe out all the data in the wallet and re-enter a new PIN. Yay success! My versa is now working again.

I have a same issue but i'll remove my device from my fitbit versa app that's why I'm unable to click device lock. Please resolve my issue asap

Hi,
I just had this problem now.
I restarted my phone.
Entered the new pin and placed the Versa on top of my cellphone screen straight away.
After a bit of a wait it finally accepted my new password. I think the new update has some how lowered the range between the versa and the cellphone. I got the idea from one of the posts on this forum. The person said they placed the phone right next to the cellphone as the versa or phoned charged and it fixed the problem. So i thought I wonder if it's a range issue when it comes to resetting the pin on the versa? So I put the versa on the cellphone screen and voila! sorted. i hope this fix works for everyone else.

EVERYONE DO A FACTORY RESET IT JUST WORKED FOR ME. YOU HOLD ALL THREE BUTTONS UNTIL THE FITBIT SYMBOL COMES UP AND RIGHT WHEN IT DISAPPEARS RELEASE THE RIGHT BOTTOM BUTTON. KEEP HOLDING LEFT AND RIGHT TOP BUTTONS UNTIL YOU FEEL A VIBRATION. ONCE DONE, PUT ON CHARGER AND LET IT TURN ON AND RESET UP YOUR DEVICE

My story. I have had a various number of fit-bit devices over the years. Purchased a Versa last summer and has been fine until a few weeks ago when it stopped syncing. I had put in a pin on my Versa to stop my kids meddling. On a few occasions the device was locked I was always able to go into the Fit-Bit app on my Samsung phone and unlock. On this occasion this failed. Hence I have since tried the factory reset option which has failed. Have un-installed the app and re-installed. Sadly the app no longer picks up my device. I have contacted Fit-Bit support who have said they will send me a replacement because its in warranty. I do believe it is very poor however that this is not something they could have fixed remotely. As a result likely to have lost 2-4 weeks of steps but hopefully the replacement device will arrive.

Before I did the hardreset I unpaired the Versa on bluetooth and completely removed the device from my account

I tried this, but because my password was set on another account, nothing appears on device lock on my current account.

I tried this, but it is not working as I set the password on my previous account which I don't remember the username and password to. Therefore, when I press device lock on this current account nothing comes up.
Please help me ASAP

I can't offer you any other advice other than to contact Fit Bit support.
I did this for my fit-bit. Lucky it was still in warranty. They have sent a new replacement so I am back however I have lost 4 weeks of steps. 😞

This is also happening to me. But its also saying its not syncing so I can't get on at all
