Unlock unsynced Versa

I am unable to unlock versa, i had unsynced my versa trying to fix problem, now if it finds my versa, i can not put in the code because it says to unlock by phone...it can't because I, like a goofball unsynced it

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that you're unable to unlock your Fitbit Versa. Thank you for efforts to resolve this and for letting me know that you removed the watch from your account. I recommend doing a factory reset. Please note that you'll need to reinstall any apps on your device after the reset, and if you couldn’t sync your device, then any data on the Fitbit device will be lost. In order to do the factory reset, please do the following:

 

  1. On the watch, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive). 
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons. 
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Once the Fitbit.com/setup screen appears, open the Bluetooth settings on your phone and unpair the watch from the list. Then, please set up the watch back to your account with the instructions on this link: How do I set up my Fitbit device? Be sure to keep your app up-to-date. In order to update your app you can follow the steps provided here.

I too have this problem.  My Versa watch  tells me to 'unlock  with my phone. However I have been using my  Ionic for some time after I purchased the Versa. My current phone was adopted  after I ceased using the Versa and the Fitbit  app does not recognise the Versa and wants me to set it up.

 

I tried the three button solution recommended on this page.   Several times. When I held the three buttons the fitbit icon was appearing briefly then reappearing.  After one of these disappearances  I released the bottom right button and there was usually a brief vibrate 

I then waited much more that two minutes but the setup screen did not appear and when i wake it up it  continues to ask me to unlock it via my phone.

I do hope you can help me rescue this device. I would like my son to adopt it

It still will not work. I followed your steps and after waiting several
minutes, it will still show. Unlock with phone.

I also have this problem which is unfortunately not going away after several attempts using the factory reset procedure you described. The versa does not vibrate after lower right button released when the fitbit logo disappears! Please help!

Hi Finally
As my device was under warranty I have received a reasonable offer for a replacement. When I receive it, I won’t be locking it until I see in print that it can be unlocked without involving the original phone used to lock it

Have the same issue, it doesn't vibrate when I release the right lower button attempting to reset my watch. Nothing works! ☹️

I was unaware that I was getting a Replacement piece. This is the first I
heard of this. What address are they sending it to?

As well as raising the issue in the community, I also raised it directly with customer services In the company where I am covered by the two year warranty

I am having the same issue. Set up 4 digit code to unlock then accidentally removed device from account. Now it won’t reconnect to app without unlocking from phone but cannot because device is not on account. What do I need to do?

Hello,

 

I have the same problem with my Versa, it remained Unlocked: "Unlock with your phone".

I tried the steps recommended on this thread to try and reset it, but it wouldn't work, since when I'm trying to re-pair it, I cannot introduce the code because it remains unlocked.

 

Did you guys receive any answer from Fitbit team?
