Unresponsive Versa with blank screen.

Need some help here my Fitbit versa has stop working black screen will not respond to restart  will not turn on in charging port nothing green heart light works but thin stops working ..

Yip. Did all of that. My first one lasted about 8 months. The next two replacements died after a couple of weeks each. Really disappointed as I loved Fitbit but the product is just no longer worth it sadly. Interesting how absent they are through all the threads

Its worth the shot but I gave up on mine because I feel like I have to fix it myself every rime something happens to my gadgets which I don't mind. But if it happens more than a couple of times, then something is wrong. I tried fixing my laptop but not this one.

My fitbit versa which is actually a replacement by Fitbit some 11 months is dead now...what a shame. It is getting charged but no display and not registering any activity. Able to connect to fitbit app though.

Mine has done the same thing.... Fit bit are telling me they'll replace it...but the one they send may not be a brand new one....as in a refurbished one...? Did you have this? Plus, did you get a pre paid envelope to send the broken one back to them? Thanks

They sent me a new one as mine was only 6 months old. It has been fine
until recently. I believe my battery is dying. Doesn’t hold charge. When it
does I’m moving on to an Apple Watch

I've kept all the broken ones. They no longer work.

To my knowledge, the 2 replacements that were sent to me were all new. I
never noticed any signs of previous usage that would have led me to believe
I was sent a refurbished product.

This happened to mine and I got a replacement because it was under warranty.  But, naturally, the 2nd one is now doing the same thing, it's only about 7 months old.  They won't replace it because the warranty is only good from the original date of purchase.  All they will do is offer me 25% off.  

 

This exact scenario happened to me with the Fitbit Charge HR as well.  I think there is a problem that they need to address.  These devices really should last longer than a few months. I'm disappointed because I really do love my Fitbit.

Same here... been troubleshooting for the past week. It’s super unfortunate because I’ve only had it since October ‘19. I’m active duty military stationed in Okinawa, so mail can take ages to get here. Hoping I can figure this out before I have to leave on deployment.

This is now 2020 and I had the same problem of the touch screen not working for a while, then it just started working one day.  This was just before my 1 year warranty ended. 

Then the black screen issue started just a month after my warranty ended.  Fitbit will do nothing but give me a discount so I purchase another one. 

 

Why would I purchase another one?!  This issue started 2 happening years ago and has still not been able to be fixed?  Not good Fitbit, not good.

I have joined the ranks of the dead fit bits....my versa screen went black....shows a light blue around edges...tried all the fixes no joy....called support....extremely poor phone connection....person  was having trouble with English...tried her suggestions...no joy...offered me a 35% discount....right I am going to spend 149.95 for a piece of junk that doesn't last until barely past the warranty period.......ridiculous .......going to get an Apple phone

I have lost 2 Fitbit versas because the screens have gone black and this is not working. I’m so upset that I’ve wasted so much money to have fitbit not give me anything back but a small discount on my next purchase. Is there any way to sell or dispose of these to someone who would want them? I don’t want to throw them out.
