Updates stopping workouts

Several times while in a workout, and my workout is tracking on Versa, the update symbol pops on the screen and when its done my watch goes back to the hime screen of the watch, turning off my workout tracker. Why is Fitbit allowing interruptions of tracking? Its frustrating.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know how many times you experienced such situation? Does this only happens when an update is completed? Keep in mind that once your device update, since it's a firmware update, if you're performing an exercise while updating the device the exercise will stop.

My Fitbit is also stopping my workouts. It just started doing this on Friday and has since been doing it everyday during my workout.

I appreciate the details that were shared with me. If you haven't already done so, please restart your Versa following the next steps and then let me know if the same issue occurs:

1. For Fitbit Versa, press and hold the back and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
2. Let go of the buttons.
3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?
