When I ask Alexa to do something it says " please tell me the security code"
I don't have any codes set up but try my regulars and it says " sorry, that's not the right code. Please try again".
The alexa app is connected on my phone fit bit app and the versa 2 watch shows as a connected device on akexa. I've tried my online shopping pin- that's not it.
Please help! 🙏 really want voice control of my devices through watch but can not figure this out!

Hi there @AniVani. Welcome to Community Forums.
I understand how you feel with this and I appreciate your effort to try and get it solved. I would suggest you uninstall the Alexa voice assistant and then reinstall it on your device.

I tried that - reinstalling, rebooting, looking for app updates - nothing worked!
I searched everywhere and couldn't find the answer so feel obligated to come back here and post now that I have got it to work.
I went into the Amazon app > settings > account setting > voice purchasing > purchase confirmation and had to enter/activate my profile there. Voice technology provider matchbox.io sent a sms for a code to authorize access. Once entered then - finally then - alexa suddenly worked on my versa 2 fitbit watch. The "security code" warning no longer showed.
Now I can control the lights and even limited music play through my watch with the help of an eco dot.
