Versa 2 GPS Track Steps

Hi there, I'm deciding either to buy a versa 2 or a versa 3.

I know that a versa 2 only has connected GPS so it can't track your location without a phone, but can it count your steps and/or distance without a phone?

The versa 3 does have a built-in GPS but it more expensive😭 so I'm stuck here because I don't know which one to buy

I have a Versa 2 which counts steps and distance. It is very nice to use but I am not sure how accurate it is.

when your versa 2 is counting steps is it connected to your phone?

or it doesn't need to be connected to your phone to count distance or steps?

It does not need to be connected to phone to count steps and distance.

When counting steps only it does not need to connect to the phone but for distance it does need to connect to the phone GPS via Bluetooth

To count distance accurately it needs to connect to the GPS via Bluetooth but the other distance measurements are not accurate at all in my opinion.
