My Versa 2 was receiving text notifications for about half a day (the day I set it up). Now no longer does.
I’ve tried all the recommended fixes on the FitBit page but they do not work.
Seems like a software update is needed to fix the problem as soon as possible.
My Versa is having same issue, so I thought the Versa 2 would take care of it since it’s a newer model but not the case - looks like I will be returning that one.
Any suggestions?
I’d rather not switch to an Apple Watch but if the notifications won’t work on the Versa that may be the next step.

Best AnswerI have the Galaxy Note 10+ as well. I went to the app store and downloaded Google Messages, changed all the defaults and so far, so good. Thanks so much. I'm not sure I would have ever thought of that.

Best AnswerI have this issue too and I did live chat for almost an hour and the issues were never resolved. All they said was thanks for letting us know and it’s an ongoing issue and to make a comment here so I will be notified if something changes

Best AnswerTry everything to get notifications and even I get it but the next day will have to do it again. It's a very dumb smart watch. My wife iWatch never had any problem in 2 years. Smartwatch for Android has a long way to catch up with Apple.
found the solution in side fitbit community. go to setting- apps notifications-fitbit app, give every single fitbit notifications a permission even you dont want some and then restart phone. so far so good for 4 days.

Best Answergo to phone setting-apps and notifications-fitbit app. give all permissions to fitbit app notifications and re start your phone. it fixed my notifications problem.
