Versa 2 SpO2 (EOV) Questions

Based on the press release for the Versa 2, an spO2 sensor will become standard and be used primarily for the sleep score.

Does anyone know if this will also be used in fitness tracking? i.e. when working out, would O2 levels be measured and considered when calculating the overall fitness score?

Thank you for your post. I’m in Canada, so perhaps it may not be released here, as well. Anyone know about that?

I got info from Fitbit support when I called and asked why there are 2

Hi KrisPDX,

O my Gawd doesnt that just stink? Same thing happened here. Me and my daughter both Versa 2's and hers was the only one with the spO2 monitor. My Versa 2 just updated yesterday 1/31/2020 so I was hoping it would show up this morning but no such luck. I dont know if that means it still might pop up at any time or I have to wait till the next update to see what happens. I dont know why they're rolling it out this slowly unless it's just to get more people to pay for Premium so they can have it  right away. At least that's what the customer Rep told me when I called and asked if there was something wrong with my watch. She said they were rolling it out so only some people had it right now and, of course, Premium members had it. If I wanted it now I could subscribe to a Premium membership otherwise she asked me to be patient as it was being rolled out.....🤔😴

@sheuer I have Premium and still waiting. I feel that support advice has to be double checked. @MattFitbit who is posting on the Ionic forum can help.

Here’s what Matt a FitBit moderator said ..

Hi everyone!

Just thought I would jump in here to confirm; that our engineers have identified and fixed an issue that was causing the EOV graph to disappear. Users who have access to the EOV preview should now see the graph again.

As a reminder, the EOV graph has not yet been released to all users. I appreciate your patience as our team works to have this feature rolled out to everyone. I will be sure to keep you all updated once I have more news on that front.

Thanks to everyone who is taking the time to provide feedback on their EOV experience!

Wait, what?? So this "customer service rep" lied to me? I'm so glad I saved
the conversation to my laptop. Not that its gonna do me any good other than
proving I was mislead lol! 🤣😢😭
I really love my Fitbit, but I'm finding (so far) their customer service is
lacking.
Definitely glad I'm not paying for Premium membership. I'm pretty sure,
since I've been waking up every morning for the last.... (well... we wont
mention how many years I've been waking up lol!) let's just say it's been
quite a few so I must be getting enough oxygen to get me through the night.
When I dont get enough, I guess I dont need my watch and someone else can
wear it....surely by then it should be equipped with the spO2 monitor 😁

Hey, hi!
I just got a text from someone who has a Premium membership and he says
he's STILL waiting for this app.
So pretty much the customer service rep I spoke to lied to me! 😡
That's really rotten. I'm glad he let me know and I'm glad I didnt buy a
premium membership.
So I hope you didnt just purchase the premium.

@sheuer Love your post "I must be getting enough oxygen",. I'm 80 so I'm still here and just waiting for the graph because I'm genetically designed for oxygen uptake as proved by testing.. I want to compare.
