Hi,
When I open the Spotify app on the Versa 2 the only speakers I am seeing are my Amazon Echo ones and not my Sonos ones, if I open the Spotify app on my iPhone all speakers are showing. Sonos is Spotify connect enabled so I’m not sure why they are not showing.
Kind regards,
Matthew

@MattCUK It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community!
Let me help you with your Versa 2 Spotify connection. According to the official instructions you need to have the app open on the phone so the connection works properly. This is why you see the Sonos speakers when you open the app. You can check the instructions here.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi,
Still no luck, though I have a Libratone Zip speaker with Spotify Connect and this works fine, it just seems to be Sonos.
I did contact support and they said they think that the Sonos is not compatible with the Versa 2 which seems a bit strange.
Kind regards,
Matthew

I managed to get mine working. As stated above though you need to have the sonos app open on your phone before the speaker will show in the list on your watch....... Bit rubbish really.

The best I could get it working was to open sonos, play something through Spotify on the speaker and then while somethings playing already it shows up on the list of speakers 😞

@MattCUK don't tell them! Then they'll have to work it out themselves 😛

And I wouldn't say what I did corrected the issue mate, it's a horrible work around. If you can update so you don't have to open sonos at all that would be ideal but at the least get it so you don't have to start a track for the speaker to show. I haven't used it since so I couldn't tell you if it dissappears everytime a playlist or track finishes.

Hi
i have been trying to implement the work around our the fit bit for Sonos speakers. I open the Sonos app and play music from Spotify through the Sonos speaker and app. I then open Spotify on the Fitbit and it says “start Spotify on another device and it will show here”. the Sonos speaker should show on the fit bit ....but it doesn’t. Any suggestions or n how to get this to work would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi, has anyone managed to add their Sonos speakers to the Spotify app from the versa 2? Managed to connect them to the Alexa app so can control them via voice commands but still not able to add the speakers to the list on Spotify. Tried opening the Sonos app on my phone but this didn’t work. Any ideas?
