Versa 2 blank screen

when I plug it in, nothing, when I plug it into the computer, I get some sounds, connecting sounds? I have tried pressing the button for many seconds, nothing. is there anything I can do? thanks.

Hi there, @entooit. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've done, please try the following in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 2.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.
  • Once your Versa 2 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again. 

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 2 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Hi Marre,

This won't work if your fitbit is blank and the fitbit logo is coming up every 10 seconds. Once the fitbit device is removed from the bluetooth there i no way you can connect it again. The device won't start up anymore. It is charging though but doesn't turn on anymore. Only the flickering fitbit logo. Is there a huge softare error going on here that affects all the versa 2 and 3 users?

This versa in new tome it has never been paired with my phone, that I can tell. So I cant unpair it either, right? I cant set up the fit bit on the device, and I cant set it up on my phone app, because I think it is not connected via bluetooth. restarting does not work either. holding the button for ten seconds, right? when I plug the fitbit into the computer I get a connecting and disconnecting sound, one after the other. is there some kind of hard reset?
