Hi guys, bought a Versa 2 today .. wanted to install the Sp02 Clock Face buts says 'Not available'.
My wife has a Versa 2 with this clock face installed ?? My Versa2 is still on 35.70.7.14 whereas the current version is 35.72.1.19 .. However if I go into my account, Help & Support, Check for Versa 2 update it reports to be up to date. What am I missing here?

@DarrenP It takes a couple days to get the firmware update when it's brand new. It's been said to download in pieces every time you sync. Give it two or three days?

Hi @DarrenP - the "Check for Versa 2 update" is purely cosmetic, it will only ever tell if you there is an update once you have the update already showing in the App.
The install may have not completed successfully, it is supposed to load the latest release during setup, as you have the initial factory firmware.
As it didn't get setup the option to receive it is as @TommyIzzo has posted.
You will need the latest version to load an SpO2 watch face, support for it wasn't implemented in the factory release.

Thank you both .. very weird that it installed an old version firmware out of the box from factory .. hopefully it updates soon .. I tried manually sync many times yesterday, shutting it down etc .. this morning it stopped responding altogether and needed the 15sec button press to get it going again. I'll report back once it finally updates, lets see how long it takes. Liking the 'Hop Picker Watch' at the moment 🙂

@DarrenP Just to clarify one small thing. Your Versa 2 came loaded with the firmware from when it was manufactured. Users need the current firmware to download clock faces and apps. Even the Versa 3 and Sense need firmware updates right out of the box.

Hello.
I’ve registered my Versa 2 on Monday afternoon. Now it’s Friday morning and I haven’t received / cannot update to the latest version. The version is 35.70.7.14. I’ve tried troubleshooting but still there’s no button for the update. I can’t download the spo2 face.
Can someone please help?
Thanks.

Hi @NiamhKaye - it seems to take longer these days for the update to arrive. Wait another few days.
There's still a lot to learn and familiarise in the meantime
Once you get the new firmware installed you will be able to load the SpO2 face.

Hi @Guy_ thank you for quick response. I’ve managed to resolve the issue with Fitbit support. Had to restore factory settings and set up the watch anew.
Latest version installed now and have the spo2.
Hope this helps if anyone has same issues.

Hi @NiamhKaye - thanks, its tedious to set it up again (especially if something goes wrong) but that's the way to go if you can't wait.
Glad it worked out for you.
Out of curiosity why did it not load the new firmware when you set it up on Monday?
Did something go wrong?

@Guy_ I have no clue why the new software wasn’t downloaded at the registration, to be honest. There certainly wasn’t an option to update it, I would’ve seen that.
But yeah, I’m glad I was able to resolve the issue fairly easily.

@NiamhKaye - thanks for the confirmation, it must be a new feature! Lol
It seems that other people also don't get the most recent firmware when installing a new watch.
