Versa 2 interval timer - how to customize?

I'd like to use the interval timer but it's currently locked to only one type.

Move 30 seconds and rest 10 seconds. Repeat 14 times.

I'd like to do 2 minutes move and 2 minutes rest. Is it possible?

@FikT   The settings for the Interval Timer are in the app.  It is in the same place for every device that has an Exercise app.  Tap on you profile picture > your device > Exercise Shortcuts > Interval Workout.  Set your move/rest/repeat there.

I can't believe how impossible it is to find answers about using a Fitbit.  I want to change the interval timer as well, found this answer, and the link goes to a page that does not discuss the interval timer.  Can anyone answer the question of how to change the intervals on the interval timer?

Best Answer

Your link was useless. It didn't help the question at all.

Best Answer

Following the link provided there are steps to update the information provided by the interval app; however, it does not discuss anywhere how to change the default move time, rest time or repeat.  Using the hamburger menu you can see what these are set to, but not adjust them.  The gear in the top right only lets you adjust the stats, connect to GPS or set always-on.

I agree. You could do this on the charge. Pay more, get less?

It is under exercise shortcuts, after you click on your device. Click on intervals and it will let you adjust.

Best Answer

That doesn’t work. When you sync it defaults to the presets on the watch. Not the app.

Best Answer

Ok it worked after 4 or 5 times trying to sync

Just worked for me thank you.

I’m still happy with my Fitbit and it has nice features etc.

but this isn’t the first watch you have produced and with a lot off options it seems like you have learned nothing on making things work properly...

and the reason I send this negative message is that with every issue I (and many people like me) have, the response of Fitbit is a bull**ahem** link to something that doesn’t explain it or You handle bugs that are mistakes in the watch as if they are a good ideas to maybe look into in the future and encourage people to keep reporting “these ideas” ....

your service, responses and answers are extremely bad, you should solve issues and stop with the bull**ahem** responses, you annoy me and I feel you waist people’s time

(like this issue in this post, setting the intervals is challenging and needs multiple attempts to sinc properly... this is not a good idea, it’s a bug that needs fixing....   the watch paired to Bluetooth earphones usually doesn’t allow to change the volume on them and the basic setting is eat damaging loud, so not usable... this is a also a bug and Needs fixing.... I chose Fitbit over Apple Watch because of the less expensive price and the fact that Apple only wants To connect to there own products, is this going to be the same strategy on earphones for Fitbit?
so in short; please improve your services

  • When I change the interval sets it is not saving. It keeps reverting back to old sets

Broken here, as well. See configuration in signature block.

I find that I have to change each interval (say it was set at 2 and 2 and I want 4 and 2, I still reset all intervals). Then you have to resync, sometimes more than once. It's an annoying glitch.

Best Answer

I went ahead and changed both values as @Lubison suggested - immediate communication to my device and the settings were reflected. No explicit sync required.

Just in case, I forced a sync three times and the setting remained on the device and are still reflected in the app.

Just another inconsistency that we have to work around, folks.
