Versa 2 native exercise app needs to run in background

The problem with the exercise app that's native on the versa 2 is that when you open it and start a workout, I cannot close the app to run in the background to choose other music from the music app or get to any other apps.I can pull down from the top to get to the quick music selection but all that will do is let me skip or control the volume it does not let me pick another album. The exercise app needs to be updated so that it can be backed out of and run in the background, it makes the app useless to me and I cannot use it. The only way to close app is to end workout.

Thank you for your inquiry. Currently this isn't possible but you can share your idea in our Feature Suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exist so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.

Hello @Paddypiob and welcome to the Community.  When you use the Exercise app, you see a top, middle, and bottom stat.  The top and bottom stats have default settings, but you can customize them.  The middle stat goes through several exercise specific real time stats that you can see by swiping on the screen.  The current time is one of the stats.  You can customize your screen and make the current time your top or bottom stat or swipe throgh the middle stat.  Please see p 47-49 of the Versa 2 manual for complete details.
