Versa 2 not charging

I used my fit bit last week no problems with anything 

it’s completely flat 

I decided to use it again this week and put it on charge and nothing is happening 

no light saying it’s charging left it for a few hours in charge and still nothing 

any ideas

Thank you so much I restarted it by holding the side button down for 10s and it’s turned on and charging thank you
