Versa 2 not receiving group message notifications

I got a new Versa 2 today, and it shows text message notifications but not if it’s from a group message. I have an iPhone X and iOS and the Fitbit app are both updated. I upgraded from a Blaze when my Blaze stopped sending notifications after I dropped it. I needed to upgrade because I use my Fitbit to alert me to work texts but not getting group messages is a problem. Any suggestions for fixes on my end? Is anyone else having a similar problem?

@Biochick37 Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

 

Let me help you with your group notifications. Which app is being affected by this issue? Try refreshing the link between your phone and your Versa 2 by doing the following:

 

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device. 
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Hi, click on your group text, then click top where all group is listed, then click the info icon and scroll to bottom where it says hide alerts n make sure that it is off. I was having the same issue, now my Fitbit versa 2 shows group texts.  Hope this helps.
