Versa 2 not setting up

My husband and I both got Versa 2's for Christmas this morning. I am on Iphone XR and he is on Android Samsung Galaxy S Plus. Both of our new watches just sit in the charging tray with blue dots. Disconnected our Charge 3 phones. Phones will not find the new Versa 2's to give us codes and/or pair. We've both had Fitbits in the past back to Alta HR's. Never had this much trouble with set up. What in the heck are we missing??

Thank you for sharing this information about the trouble you've experienced to complete the setup process. 

Before considering other options, please confirm if you already tried all the steps listed here: Article
Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

In addition, keep in mind that having both trackers next to each other can provoke certain interference in the Bluetooth connectivity. Make sure to try the set up process separately as well. 

Also, please make sure to check if the mobile device you're using is listed here as a compatible device to sync with the Fitbit app. I've confirmed the phone model Samsung Galaxy S Plus is currently not listed as compatible. 

If a device isn’t listed it doesn’t mean it won’t work with a Fitbit tracker or smartwatch, however, we cannot guarantee optimal performance on devices for which we have not tested and confirmed compatibility.

Thanks for your reply but (1) my husband has the Samsung and his Versa 2 works just fine with it; (2) I have an Iphone XR and it is compatible but never charged the battery even though I wiped the Charge 3 and put it far far away; and (3) it's already been sent back to Amazon for a replacement. I will return if I have further issues.

I'm sorry to see the device was not able to sync, but it's good to know that you'll be receiving a replacement from Amazon.
