Versa 2 not syncing since Android 14 update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My versa 2 has stopped syncing with my Samsung A13 since an update to Android 14. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, done the bluebtooth turn off and back on & also done a factory reset on the fibut but it still won't connect via Bluetooth to the app. Any ideas?

Same for me! Support person said they are working on it (after making sure I already tried everything else from their support site). But didn't indicate how long it would take...

@147potty Hi. If you look around the forum, all sorts of people are having issues syncing with Fitbit models. Some claim tablets are syncing. Mine hasn't synced for 15 hours now including a phone that hasn't got the Android 14 update yet. It's more likely Fitbits latest app update than Samsung and Android 14.

yeah, my Samsung Galaxy a10e is on Android 11. It was the update to version 4.28 of the Fitbit app that caused the syncing with my Versa 2 to stop.

Thank you so much to all for informing us about this situation!

Our tech team is working on it. I'm sorry for all the inconveniences this has caused. Please check if you can install the 4.28.1 version. This should appear in the following days.

To update the app in the Google Play Store:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
  3. Tap Manage apps & device. Manage.
  4. Tap the app you want to update. Tip: Apps with an update available are labeled "Update available."
  5. Tap Update.

To update the app in the App Store:

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Scroll to see pending updates and release notes.
  4. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All.

Same for me, really upset. Our data gets uploaded, Google bought fitbit now getting phased out for google watches. Third fitbit now. Done all the resets several times and not fixed. VERY upset.I can't even link my watch to my phone. 😤. More money wasted.

I have the right update and yet my versa two wont sync either, according to the app, it hasn't synced for the past four days! (I didn't notice because I don't go on the app very often) I tried all the things suggested and nothing worked.

Versa 2 not sync for 12 hours

Unloaded and reload app

Won't connect with app

Not even recognised as bluetooth item

Tried factory reset and that didn’t work either

Very frustrating!

I just updated the app to 4.28.1 and could not pair with my Galaxy A13.

My previous Sense 2 device and now my brand new (arrived today) Sense 2 will not pair.

Hi there everyone!

Thank you all so much for updating us on this situation. Our team has been looking for a solution and has recently launched a new version of the Fitbit app. Some users have reported that with this new version of the app they're able to sync their devices again.

Please try to update your Fitbit app to the 4.28.3 version. If it doesn't work, please restart your phone and try the steps of set up as new device again:

  1. Update the Fitbit App to 4.28.3
  2. Open the Fitbit app. On the Today tab, tap on Devices (Device icon, top left).
  3. Delete any connected Fitbit Trackers/SmartWatches, if any are shown.
  4. Go to Android Settings, Bluetooth (Connected Settings), and "Forget" any Fitbit Trackers/SmartWatches if any are shown.
  5. Restart your phone.
  6. Open the Fitbit app and re-add the Tracker/SmartWatch (via the Devices icon, top left). How do I set up my Fitbit device?
  7. From the Fitbit app, Today tab, Tap or Hold near to the top of the screen and then drag down to perform a manual sync.
