Versa 2 not syncing

for about 4 days, my Versa 2 won't sync with my phone.  my device and my phone show different informations.  should I do a reset?  would that cause me to lose data?if yes to the reset, how do I do that?

I've actually been trying this all morning with my Versa 2. Got it to sync once but it still won't update. It's stuck on searching for device again. And it's been acting up like this a lot lately. Not syncing, etc...

I spoke to Fitbit Support.

They coached me through

1) doing a hardware reset on the watch
2) deleting the app on my iPhone

3) following the initial instructions - like a new purchase of a Versa 2

4) it connected, updated the watch, then sync’d

I did all above, it still doing the same thing. I have to go & reset it
like new watch. I have to do it every month. It's getting unacceptable.

I agree! It’s been giving me syncing issues every month as well. I lose my
sleep score data every time I have to reinstall everything. Very
frustrating. 😩

My Versa 2 has been working fine since following the steps they had me go
through.

I finally got everything working again. The weird thing is, I think it may
have been because I had Bluetooth turned on, on a couple of devices. I
turned Bluetooth off on my 2nd phone and got it to sync with the one that
my Fitbit app is on. Could that have been the whole issue?

Very possibly.

Either turn off the other devices or move them out of range.

How many times per day or week should one have to restart Versa 2; Android phone; delete app; add app; turn bluetooth on/off for it to be functioning normally? For MONTHS if I restarted my fitibit it would synch, but I had to do that a couple of times per day. I have done all of the trouble shooting and within minutes, phone and Versa 2 are not synching. Do you recommend dropping Fitbit entirely? I have been loyal, but the last few months have been ridiculous. When I am exercising, it will stop synching after 400 to 700 steps.
