Hi @Adura65 read this on how to set up - you don't pair the Fitbit to your bluetooth, the Fitbit pairs to the email address/account. click to read

Hi, I found exactly why it wont pair to bluetooth! I've had this problem for a long time! 1. Go to setting on your versa 2
2. Find the bluetooth setting, then all the way down tap the button(restore music controls) until it says pair!
It will pair to bluetooth on phone right after you do that!

John:Thanks for the summary. I'm reviewing your issue now and will be right back.
Me:thanks
John:You're welcome.
John:I'll be glad to assist you regarding your Versa 2 that you can't pair to your phone for music control and notifications.
John:To help you with this, let's try restarting your Fitbit.
John:Press and hold the left button for 10 seconds and then release it.
Me:ok
Me:its back on
John:Thanks.
John:Try to use music control again.
Me:it says connect phone
John:Please go to the Bluetooth menu on your phone and see if the Versa 2 is paired there.
Me:it says pairing rejected by versa2
John:Okay. On your Versa 2, go to the Settings app > Bluetooth > Restore Music Controls.
Me:now its not even finding it
John:Okay. Please follow my instructions above.
Me:ok
John:Once you're done, on your phone, navigate to the Bluetooth settings where paired devices are listed. Your phone will scan for available devices.
John:When you see Versa 2 Classic, tap it to pair your phone to the watch.
Me:Ok says currently connected to versa2(classic)
John:Thanks.
John:While music is playing on your phone, swipe down from the top of your screen on your watch. After your notifications appear, swipe down again to open the control center. Tap the music controls icon.
John:You might need to change the audio source to your phone if you previously listened to music stored on your watch. Tap the 3 dots, then tap the phone icon to change the audio source to your phone.
Me:ok it says start playing music on phone, but it is playing music
John:Make sure that on your watch, the audio output is controlled by your phone.
Me:yep it even has the little green phone icon on the bottom left
Me:and it says audio output is controllld by phone
John:Alright. Press the button once on your Versa 2 to go back to the music control screen.
Me:k
John:Now, do you see the control screen where you can play, and pause the music?
Me:now it is working, what about text and email
John:Let's move forward with that.
John:May I know the brand and model of your mobile phone?
Me:its a moto z2 force
John:Thanks. What's the Android version of your phone? To check, go to Settings > About Phone/Device > Android/Software Version.

John:Thanks for checking.
John:Please go to the Play Store and update the Fitbit app on your phone.
