Versa 2 rejecting pairing

My versa 2 has off and on refused to sync with my Galaxy s7. Today after turning the bluetooth on my phone off then back on didn't help, I followed the next suggestion of unpairing it. Took a lot of effort to get my phone to find it again, but now it just says the Versa 2 is rejecting pairing. Oddly, the app (on the phone) continues to show the correct info from the fitbit. Yet it refuses to pair. Is this the Versa 2 or the phone? And how can I fix it?

Logout of the Fitbit App, restart both watch and phone then try Tips to pair Sense via Bluetooth - it should work for your watch too.

For the random non sync have a look at the battery saving settings on the phone

On the phone check battery optimizations

[the options may be different in your version]

  • First go to Settings > Apps & Notification > Special app access
  • Click on Battery optimization
  • Now press the drop down menu [...] and select “All Apps
  • Click on Bluetooth and then select “Don’t optimize
  • Same with Fitbit
