Versa 2 screen unresponsive

HR infrared light is stuck on red and won't display HR and screen is unresponsive, won't swipe down or left on main clock face screen.

I also have the same issue, but at first cold get my screen visible for short periods until I followed the instructions to "fix" and now its worse with no screen activity at all. Battery also functioning well below previous levels.

 

I was offered a voucher too, which is a great sales tactic considering Fitbit broke my perfectly healthy device. So peed off with their lack of care.

Hi. I feel your pain. I loved my watch. It was always on my wrist. Since the upgrade it is useless. I cannot use the touch screen at all and Fitbit doesn't seem to care. No solution, no feedback and no interest.

Hi. I was told I am out of warranty and sent a link to their new watches. Shocking considering they broke my watch with their untested software "upgrade". I'm royally pieved and will NEVER go near the Fitbit brand again.

They told me they'd check with their warrantee team and email me their decision. Do you think I have heard from them? NOPE.. The watch stayed 100% dead until it was on the charger for several hours. I'm afraid to take it off the charger now because it dies again in just a few hours.

with all my respect.. that doesn’t work also changing for a fitbit doesn’t work.. it’s the software that breaks the watches…

 

i see so many reviews.. versa 2 doesn’t work anymore since update… i had mine who stopped working properly.. the screen didn’t respond anymore.. then i had the one from my mom, same model just she buyed it later.. exactly same problem aaaaand battery can’t charge to 100% anymore ..

 

and nobody supports us users.. everywhere there are bad reviews.. and it’s not the first fitbits that have problems.. it’s sad for a company like that…

 

i am so disappointed

I feel your pain. I even tried making contact with Google and after being responded to by their AI, I was sent a link to pay for help. No number to call, no one cares. Unbelievable that I had a perfect, working watch a week ago (that I actively used every day) and now it's lying in my drawer. I'm gutted how these big companies treat their customers. Not one word from Fitbit or Google about a possible fix while 1000`s of customers' watches have been made redundant by their untested upgrade. Bastards.

It’s sad for a company like that .. so we are thousand of users who have their watch useless because of a software update and no one from Fitbit does a rollback to the older version .. they just wait until user buy their new products .. i will not !! they should fix that bug or they will loose a lot of customer ..

Same. I wore my various versions, every day for years. Bought lots of cute bands.

This is my 3rd watch now that has just died and won't turn back on. Absolute shower of **ahem**. It's like the product on last about as long as the warranty and then just switch off.

We'd be better off renting the bloody things. All I get is can u restart the app etc. Like I've not tried everything under the sun. Just got the blue fitbit symbol slowly flashing on and off on the watch. Can't do anything. Loved until now. They can sod off if I'm paying for another one agian

I'm not giving up. For Google/Fitbit to break devices on this scale and not admit anything is gross negligence. I will certainly be looking to take it to the Ombudsman when the 8 week period passes with no fix or replacement.

I managed to get mine to factory reset but of course once you've set it up again it automatically downloads.....[drum roll] the latest software! I'm left with a watch that is basically just that, because i can sometimes swipe across the screen but I can't do anything else like change settings or select/start/stop an exercise etc. Great eh. Who pushes out a software update without having the previous version to roll back to? In fact who rolls out a software update without testing it properly? Thanks Fit Bit....I might as well just draw numbers on my wrist!
