Hi there, @3meg3. Welcome to the Community Forums.

To better assist you, would you mind providing me with more details about the issue with your Versa 2? Is it a battery or screen issue?

In the meantime, please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hope this helps.

I have experienced the same issue with my. Versa 2. Screen does not work - blue scrolling on watch screen. Have tried resetting several times and have tried to rest clock face. Unfortunately, I am unable to find a clock face that is compatible.

Hi there, @Romi54. Welcome to the Community Forums. I appreciate you had followed the tips and recommendations provided above.

As our last resort, I'd suggest performing a factory reset by following the steps below (please make sure that your Fitbit device is no longer paired to your phone's Bluetooth before performing this step):

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

You can follow the steps to set up the device after that: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.

Hope this helps.

Factory re-set as advised by moderator worked for me, I had the same issue. It took a few attempts but got there in the end.

My Fitbit versa 2 won’t even switch on since a month.  It was a present and now even if I charge it nothing happens, I’ve tried resetting it as blow but it’s still dead.

can you help?

My Versa 2 has completely stopped working. The screen went black. It had about 40% battery at the time. I have since had it plugged in to charge for over 24 hours and still nothing. I have tried re settting and that doesn’t work either. I have had it less than a year so is under warranty. Help!

I would recommend going to Fitbit support help site on Twitter? That’s what I did and they were quick to respond and sorted it out. Took a few attempts but got there in the end.

Same here.  Will not turn on.  The Fitbit logo will not come up.  There was an update could not update due to black screen.

I got a red exclamation mark and battery showing red but now after charging it is black and won’t come.  Support offer a discount on a new one. Hopefully you can get your Fitbit working.
