Versa 2 stuck on battery charging symbol

My battery symbol constantly shows that it's on charge, even though it's not charging. And my battery is dying quicker. I tried to reset my Fitbit and it still shows that it's charging.

This was my solution that I first posted a few days ago on another thread. However, I've since found out that this only solves the problem temporarily, and I continue to have to change my clockface on a regular basis to get my Versa Lite to get out of the boot loop. It's a temporary fix, and is not a permanent solution.
