Versa 2 touch screen is not working

My versa 2 touchscreen stopped working. I can't swipe to my apps, notification bar or flip through my daily counters. Everything else still tracks, just the screen doesn't respond to touch.

Mine did that earlier today and then it started working again and now it's not working anymore. I think they're trying to make me buy a new one.

The same happened to me this past week. First it was unresponsive then it sometimes worked. I reset it several times. Now the screen is black and I can’t see anything-not even the time. What’s weird is that is is still collecting data and if I go to my phone app I can read all the statistics.

Mine has done the same thing. Collects data to my phone but the screen is unresponsive. Have done both soft reset and factory reset and now screen is all ready to give “quick tips” but won’t START. Still no swiping up, down or sideways.
This is a new one sent two months ago when screen went totally blank.

My versa 2 is doing same thing just noticed a few minutes ago because it keeps vibrating like I have notifications but cannot see anything other than time

Mine was stuck on Spotify, now stuck on Wallet. Have never used either. Tried changing clock which is where it stays unless I swipe; but not this time. Any updates from Fitbit that are new and affecting this glitch?

Frustrating!!  My alarms go off as usual but instead of shutting off when I press the button on the side it sometimes will go off again repeatedly every so many seconds. VERY distracting!!

We have lost both versa (1 and 2) within a short while, cannot get help and all generic answers have not worked, issue was raised 2 weeks ago, no answers, apparently they do just die, it is annoying I know and there is little help. Looking at a smart watch instead, they appear to last longer

They cost too much for such a short lifespan, there is better out there though

This is frustrating! Google buys Fitbit and conveniently things start going wrong??? My Versa had the old static TV screen 2 nights ago and has not responded to touch since. It's still tracking, but I can't check messages, use alarms, timers, etc. If this is their way to try to get users to upgrade, then I no longer care to do business with them. I'm hoping it's just bugs they need to work out in the transition. Holding my breath...

No, they just tell you to reset it by holding in your side button until the logo appears. Sometimes it helps but for me it didn’t.

Try holding the button on side for about 10 seconds until screen shows
fitbit logo. That should restart it . I tried that yesterday and
it restarted mine. Everything works fine my screen swipes as it should now.
Just make sure the battery is not dead first

Same here. Totally agree. Only just over 2 years and suddenly stops working and cant be repaired. Very suspicious.

Same here. How old is yours?

I agree. Will not be taking advantage of the discount they offered to buy a new one. I am very suspicious that this is being managed by them. Too many of us experiencing the same problem all of a sudden. I will not be doing business with them on this basis

I found that if I spoke to someone in the live chat and did the resets that they asked and it still wouldn't work then they were more than happy to send my a replacement one.  Live chat was very helpful

I think I bought it prePandemic. I don’t remember exactly. But it’s at least 3 or 4yrs?
