Since getting my new  s22 ultra phone I'm not getting my texts and only getting emails once in awhile and last synced on Nov 24 I'm thinking about sending the watch back seems like a piece of junk

@Paulalee1269 Thanks for following the tips and recommendations I've provided above.

As our last resort, I suggest performing a factory reset on your Versa 2. To do so, please follow the steps below:

  • Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  • When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account, your applications, alarms, etc.

Hope this helps.

Hi @Paulalee1269 - the watch is probably fine, if you changed phone the watch may still be trying to talk to the old phone. make sure that the old phone is off.

It may suffice then to just restart the phone and watch.

Note: As you have a new version of the App on the new phone it needs the setup of incoming messages to be setup again properly.

If you haven't done so, in the Fitbit App, click profile photo, device photo, Notifications and make sure all are turned on and correct, Also visit App notifications lower down and make sure the Apps you want [or all] are turned on, and resync the watch.

Hello there, @Paulalee1269. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 2.

I agree with @Guy_. I'd suggest making sure that your Versa 2 is no longer connected to your old mobile device as this might be preventing your Fitbit device to receive notifications from your new phone.

With that being said, please follow the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 2 from your old phone's Bluetooth and also from the new phone.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your new phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 2 again.
  • Set up notifications on your Versa 2 again.

Hope this helps.
