Quite a few others are experiencing the same issue with Versa 2 after the recent phone app update:

Charge 5 users also:

And lots of Blaze users:

Fitbit (Google) are so far denying it, but all evidence points to the fact this is a phone app update issue rather than an issue with multiple fitbit devices.
Most people not very happy, and now looking at other fitness watch brands as a result. This is a complete own goal for Google and Fitbit.
