Hi there, @SunsetRunner. Welcome to the Community Forums.

To better assist you with this, may I know if the Versa 2 belonged to your daughter, but now it belongs to you? Or your daughter just received a Versa 2 which you want to sync to your iPhone? Are there two Versa 2 devices that you want to set up and sync to your iPhone? Have you both created a separate account for each?

If your issue is the first sentence, I've described, please know that the Versa 2 cannot connect properly to your phone since your daughter hasn't yet forgotten the connection between the Versa 2 watch and her phone's Bluetooth which would explain the connectivity issues you're running into. With that said, try the steps below:

  • Unpair the Versa 2 from your daughter's phone.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your new phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.
