Hello,
I'm getting back into running and have been using the auto recognize feature to track my runs so far.
I wanted to track how far I've been running but it looks like the auto recognize feature for running states that GPS will not be turned on.
Is there a way to enable this?
It looks like if I use my Versa and swipe to exercises and select running I'm able to check if the GPS is connected but an auto recognized exercise doesn't do this.

Hello @Lolkupo and welcome to the Community. I can see that you are a new Fitbit user, so a little history might help. Fitbit's auto-recognition feature is called SmartTrack and it was released in 2015. It was added to the Charge HR, a device that doesn't have an Exercise app. It can't turn on GPS, because that's the way it's programmed. It's on several other devices like the Flex 2 and Alta/Alta HR., devices with no exercise app. If you want to get your running distance, you need to use the Exercise app.
