Last week I did the mandatory firmware update to version 36.128.6.21.
Before doing the update my battery would last about 5 -6 days (depending on how much exercise I did).
Now since doing the update it lasts less than a day. That's with everything turned off too (eg. Notifications, snore detection, vibrations etc) .
Makes it pretty much useless as I don't get accurate sleep data and when I want to use it for a run I have to wait for it to charge. Anyone else had the same issue?

Hi there @Jwillett92! It's great to hear from you!
Thank you so much for reporting this situation and for all your efforts.
I suggest you read this article: Sense and Versa 3 Battery Performance Program The firmware update improves the stability of the battery performance and reduces the risk of the battery overheating. Affected devices will experience a reduction in battery capacity. You can submit a request to find out if your device is impacted here.

My Sense had a mandatory update yesterday and the battery was charged to 100% at lunch and I just received a notice that my battery was already low. The firmware update has caused an extreme battery reduction. It seems to me that the battery should not overheat when it was lasting almost a full week on one charge, where now it burns through a full battery charge in a day. Can you explain this further?

I just updated mine Versa 3 for what they said was that battery overheating issue. A problem I never had and now my batter on my versa doesn't even last half a day when before I could get at least 2 or more days in a full charge. Is there a way to recover that capacity? If not, this makes my watch useless and will have to look at alternative watches to gain what I need.

This most recent update has basically made the watch unable. Maybe that we the whole intent. $50 appeasement for a $200 watch seems like a pretty poor solution. You should have offered a replacement watch at a severely discounted price. Seems like the time to buy a different brand of watch.

I did the update also. My battery symbol stays at 100%. I charged it 2 days ago. Something is definitely fishy!!

I had to charge mine twice in one day and it cannot even make it through the night now. It is unusable.

The past two weeks I've had to recharge a lot more frequently, and I've been having constant disconnects from my phone. I rarely get any of my notifications after updating, and when I do it's nearly 100 in one go.

Don't be "sorry", just fix the issue you caused. Like others, I'll be ditching this now useless watch and looking for another brand.

Can you please offer a solution that actually works? I have to charge my battery twice a day ever since your update.

Hi please to reset the firmware or give us the option to. My Versa 3 has gone from only needing to be charged every 6 to 7 days to everyday and this is unacceptable. It seems like multiple mods have tried to respond to this without any actual change and this is frustrating to say the least.
My battery never overheated prior and now it's just useless.

I did that and they verified my watch qualified but it's still useless. This offer is for $50 so we spend money on a new watch that I didn't need. Yes, let me jump through your stupid hoops just to spend more money with your company. Not happening. This issue either gets resolved or on to a new brand for me. This just seems like another money grab from a company that seen better times.

Same! The update was basically a trap to make fitbit useless so we buy their newer models- except I'm never doing that!
There was nothing wrong with my fitbit's battery, easily would last 3-4days single charge vs now less that 7 hours my watch is dead.

I’ve had the same but I’ve also had an issue where my watch goes off alerting me I have 10,000 steps then once my app syncs I all of a sudden have 8k?!?! What is going on?
