Versa 3 battery drain

 Google put through a mandatory update to prevent batteries overheating on Versa 3.    All it did to mine was drain the battery.  Online comments from other folks having similar issues.  Google has offered $50 US  as compensation.  Considering initial cost of Fitbit and them accepting liability, re offer, feel full refund more acceptable

While the firmware in question is meant to improve the global performance of the device, there are some features that may be impacted by it. That's the reason we launched this performance program.

@Freddyflintston Not a desirable solution but battery lasts longer if you keep BT off until you need it. Mine only lasted 1.5 days so just bought a Versa 4. It’s $80 off on sale right now.
